Notre Dame among 3 colleges to take admission test

08 June,2015

RTNN News Desk: The High Court has allowed Holy Cross College, Notre Dame College and St. Joseph College to admit students in class XI through their own admission Test.

A vacation bench of HC comprising Justice Naima Haider and Justice Md Iqbal Kabir passed the order on Monday.

Senior lawyer Fida M Kamal represented the plea.

With the HC order, there is no bar for the three institutions to admit students in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) course in 2015-16 academic session.

Earlier on June 1, Ministry of Education issued a circular for all colleges to admit students in class XI through online process baring any admission test. Challenging some section of the circular, the above three intuitions filed three separate writs.
